This narrative is not only disempowering but scientifically incorrect. The human body, including bones and muscles, retains its adaptability and capacity for growth well into old age. While recovery might be a little slower than in your twenties, and you might need to be more mindful of proper form and progressive loading, the ability to build strength and muscle tissue does not magically disappear at a certain arbitrary age.
In fact, for women over 35, strength training becomes more crucial, not less.
